Neuropsychological Assessment Clinic Kit (NPACK)
The Neuropsychological Assessment Clinic Kit (NPACK) was brought to vehiCLE as an initial prototype that consisted of a tablet and all materials necessary for remote neurophsychological assesments. Our goal was to create a complete device with all necessary components in a durable, portable case that would be simple for any user to operate.Our design is robust, yet light weight with a clean interface in an organized, portable package. The current NPACK can be started with one button press, and the necessary software opens upon startup. The NPACK features a reserve battery giving the NPACK over 8 hours of video call capabilites on a single charge. The NPACK has a wide angle camera, over ear headphones, necessary paperwork and writing utensils, and a clipboard. We have also worked with an industry partner to develop software that will allow for secure video calling and interfacing with necessary, secure programs. The NPACK has cellular and wifi capabilities so that connection from almost anywhere is possible.
Next Steps:
The NPACK custom software has been created and tested. It will be tested further and marketed to industry partners or implemented internally.
