Andrew Shoffstall, PhD
Dr. Andrew Shoffstall’s research interests are at the union of biomaterials and neural engineering. He is currently working with Dr. Jeff Capadona to develop and test dynamically softening materials to improve the longevity and reliability of brain-machine interface technology. His primary research aims involve methods to minimize injury and the resulting inflammation resulting from implanted neural devices with materials-based approaches.
